Today we welcome back Elin Hilderbrand and her brand new novel "Summerland.". Elin lives on Nantucket with her husband and their three young children. She grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and traveled extensively before settling on Nantucket, which has been the setting for her ten previous novels. Elin is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the graduate fiction workshop at the University of Iowa. This is her second visit to Chick Lit Central, as she was here last summer to answer a few questions.

If you would like to learn more about Elin, you can find her on Facebook and Twitter.

I have to pick one? Then I'll go with one that always makes me smile, plus has hot Colin Firth in it: Bridget Jones's Diary.

I adore a French movie (it's just as good with the subtitles! Reading AND a movie at the same time...I'm in!), starring Audrey Tatou, called "Amelie". It's whimsical, romantic, quirky, funny, and visually spectacular. It's number one on my list of the 8 movies I *must* watch every time I come across it.

at first, I was going to just say... Devil Wears Prada, which IS my favorite. Smart, beautiful, tender, real. But THEN, I read the OTHER comments and was reminded....
French Kiss
Bridget Jone's Diary
Notting Hill (sigh....)

One thing though: Elin Hilderbrand: is there anything like her books? She is on my list of favorite authors (with Jen Weiner and Jane Green). I love EVERYONE of her books, and plan to read this shortly!
HEr books do not release often enough!
