Sarah Pinneo serves up a dish of love and has a book to give away!

**Giveaway is now closed**

Today we welcome debut author Sarah Pinneo and her novel, "Julia's Child," which was just released on January 31st. Sarah Pinneo worked in finance for more than a decade before making the transition from breadwinner to bread slicer. Her first book was published by Clarkson Potter/Random House in 2007. She holds a degree in economics from Yale University. Sarah has lived in Grand Rapids, MI, New York City, Ludlow, Vermont and now Hanover, NH where the occasional moose or black bear is spotted in her back yard.

Thanks to Penguin and KMSPR, we have one copy to give away to a lucky reader anywhere in the US.

Visit Sarah at her website, Twitter and Facebook pages.

Favorite romantic movie
I'm a sucker for Working Girl, which probably only shows my age. But who can resist Melanie Griffith accidentally telling the man she's meant to interview the next day that "I have a head for business and a bod for sin. Is there anything wrong with that?"

Favorite couple from a TV series:
CJ and Danny on The West Wing. You know, I never realized this before, but I find an exciting workplace to be incredibly sexy. I met my husband at work, too. On a trading floor.

Most memorable date:
As our first date, my (future) husband and I had agreed to go to a crowded, preppy mixer at The Yale Club. But at the last minute he led me to McSorley's Ale House instead, (established 1854) where we talked only to each other. And drank a lot of McSorley's Ale.

Tell us about your marriage proposal:
It was my 27th birthday, and I found the ring inside a tortilla from our favorite Mexican restaurant. You have to give him points for originality.

Favorite place to go on a date:
One of the reasons I write about food is that I’ve had the good fortune to go to some really amazing restaurants. I was married at the Gramercy Tavern, in their tiny private room. And—this is a little embarrassing—I went into labor for my second child while dining at Thomas Keller’s Per Se. They still have a copy of my birth announcement taped up to the kitchen wall.

Guy you would date from a chick lit novel:
Easy! The “Harvard Hottie” from The Nanny Diaries.

Best TV series kiss:
I’m a little hung up on Downton Abbey these days, and I loved the scene when Cousin Matthew kissed Lady Mary over sandwiches in the dining room. But… does he still love Mary? Or will her heart be forever broken? And what will she wear on the next episode. I can’t wait to know.

Special thanks to Sarah for sharing her special memories with us and to Penguin and KMSPR for sharing "Julia's Child" with our readers.

My favorite place to go on a date is a museum, living near DC it is easy because we have quite a few and most are free. I like walking around and seeing all sorts of new things and then when you are at dinner you have a ton to talk about!

One of my favorite dates is dinner at a wood-fired pizza restaurant and then catching an improv comedy show.

Favorite place to go on a date is definitely the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We have so many restaurant options there, attractions on the street levels above, the Tower of Americas nearby and it's just a pretty place at night. It's also where my personal idol, Selena, filmed one of her videos. I love the Riverwalk!

I too love "Working Girl." I'm so glad everyone is pretty much OVER the whole wearing sneakers to the office. I know it was comfortable, but talk about UGLY!
My favorite date is anywhere quiet near/by/on the water. I just love sitting quietly talking with the water nearby.

CARNIVAL. I just love heights, but so far I've only gone with a group of friends and not exactly on a date.

This sounds like a great book! I'd love to win a copy. Thanks for the chance!

My favorite place to go on a date is going out to dinner, maybe going to the movies (or watching on at home). Sometimes my hubby and I like to go shopping, or to the mall. Whenever we are kid-free, it doesn't matter where we go or what we do, we just like to be together (without the kids bickering----I love 'em to death, but sometime I just need a break!)

Thanks for the chance!
