What's in store for 2012

Here is a small selection of the books we're looking forward to in 2012. (If we didn't limit our list to three a person, we'd be writing non-stop!)

Are these on your list too?

Melissa A:
"Another Piece of My Heart" by Jane Green
"Where We Belong" by Emily Giffin
"The Next Best Thing" by Jennifer Weiner

Amy:
"These Girls" by Sarah Pekkanen
"Blackberry Winter" by Sarah Jio
"Jeneration X" by Jen Lancaster

Becky:
"One Perfect Summer" by Paige Toon
"I've Got Your Number" by Sophie Kinsella
"Heaven Can Wait"  by Cally Taylor (Not a new book but because I loved "Home for Christmas," as some say this book is even better!)

Cindy:
"Outside The Lines" by Amy Hatvany
"The Lucky Dog Matchmaking Service" by Beth Kendrick
"When In Doubt, Add Butter" by Beth Harbison

Gail:
"Let's Pretend This Never Happened (a memoir)" by Jenny Lawson
"I've Got Your Number" by Sophie Kinsella
"Jeneration X" by Jen Lancaster

We are also eagerly awaiting the release of "Viewer Discretion Advised" by our very own Cindy Roesel!

Here's a synopsis:
Charlene “CHARLEY” Thomas is a sassy, smart, Miami Television News Executive with a closet full of Via Spiga pumps, designer suits, maxed out credit cards and a well-stocked fridge of Ketel One Vodka. Charley is addicted to M&M’s (plain, not peanut) and her six-foot-four, blue-eyed surfer hunk boyfriend, Oz. When it comes to work, she is determined to do anything to get a story.
When she stumbles across an unsolved murder, she sees investigating and even possibly solving it as her ticket to the Networks. But in the process she risks losing her own life.

VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED is a spicy mix of “Sex and the City” meets “Broadcast News.”

*Melissa P. is still focusing on her husband's recovery and was not available to share her list. We have a feeling she will agree with all of our choices and we know she's always excited to read the latest and greatest in chick lit!

There are many more exciting novels to look forward to in 2012 and we hope to feature as many of them as we can. Happy reading!
