Thanks to Penguin (Berkley), we have one book for a lucky US reader!

After her husband loses his job, Lucy has to leave behind her posh life in London and settle into a tiny East Village apartment. Now she’s a middle-aged mother in the midst of hipsters, homesick and resentful until she embarks on a new love affair—with New York City and three new friends.

Julia has left her family for a mini breakdown and a room of her own. Trophy wife Christy is a bit adrift, as only those who live in penthouses can be. Robyn is constantly compensating for her wunderkind husband who can’t seem to make the transition to adulthood. And all of them are starting to learn that what you want in your twenties isn’t always what you need in your forties…

Please tell us: What is your favorite season?

One entry per person.

Please include your e-mail address or another way to reach you if you win. Entries without contact information will NOT be counted.

My favorite season is spring even though I was born in the autumn and that seems to be the most popular season. Maybe it's the pumpkins.

When I lived on the east coast, spring was my favorite. Now, in California, the seasons all seem the same: maybe winter: at least we get a change in the weather!

Summer has always been my favorite season. When I grew up in Virginia, I was always crabby unless it was summer. Then one day, someone told me there was a place that had summer all the time. I vowed to live there one day and here I am in…Florida. I have never been happier!

My favorite season is Fall. I love the first crisp days after a very long, hot summer. I love the vibrant colors that start filtering through the trees. I love that my husband and I celebrate our anniversary in my favorite month of the year, October. Yes, I love Fall.

My favorite season is...
Spring - I love watching the birds build their nests. Trees are budding out and tulips and daffodils
are popping up to brighten the world around them.
Summer - The neighborhood is alive with the sounds of children playing. Their laughter fills the air.
Fall - There is nothing like the beauty of the tress turning color, the sound of leaves crunching underfoot. There is football and bonfires, candy apples and Halloween.
Winter - The soft blanket of snow covers the ugliness of bare trees, brown lawns, and creates a wonderland for children to play in and adults to walk in. Winter brings Christmas, which means families gather together from whatever distance.
How can I chose just one season as my favorite?

Love the crisp days of Fall. The open windows bring in smells of leaves from the outside....and I enjoy cooking to create scents of pumpkin, apple and cinnamon on the inside!!

Being in North Dakota it's hard to actually figure out what constitutes a season! (Snow is April isn't my cup of tea.) But I definitely love Autumn. It's such a beautiful season. Though summer isn't too bad, as long as it doesn't get too hot! I know, I know, there's just no pleasing me! :)~

Thanks for participating and sharing your favorite seasons with us. Such a diverse group!
My vote is for autumn! I love the way the trees look and the crisp feeling in the air. Plus any excuse to wear sweaters and drink hot cocoa again is fine by me!

Thanks again to Penguin for sharing the book with our winner.

Random.org chose one winner from all entries with contact info (one entry per person).

Congrats to Julie (jmbusa)!
