Spotlight and Giveaway: One True Loves
One True Loves is Taylor Jenkins Reid's fourth novel, which just published yesterday. We're pleased to feature it today and BookSparks has one copy to give away! It is part of their 2016 Summer reading challenge.
From the author of Maybe in Another Life — named a People magazine pick and a “Best Book of the Summer” by Glamour and USA TODAY — comes a breathtaking new love story about a woman unexpectedly forced to choose between the husband she has long thought dead and the fiancĂ© who has finally brought her back to life.
In her 20s, Emma Blair marries her high school sweetheart, Jesse. They build a life for themselves, far away from the expectations of their parents and the people of their hometown in Massachusetts. They travel the world together, living life to the fullest and seizing every opportunity for adventure.
On their first wedding anniversary, Jesse is on a helicopter over the Pacific when it goes missing. Just like that, Jesse is gone forever.
Emma quits her job and moves home in an effort to put her life back together. Years later, now in her 30s, Emma runs into an old friend, Sam, and finds herself falling in love again. When Emma and Sam get engaged, it feels like Emma’s second chance at happiness.
That is, until Jesse is found. He’s alive, and he’s been trying all these years to come home to her. With a husband and a fiancĂ©, Emma has to now figure out who she is and what she wants, while trying to protect the ones she loves.
Who is her one true love? What does it mean to love truly?
Emma knows she has to listen to her heart. She’s just not sure what it’s saying.

BookSparks gave us a Q&A to celebrate Taylor's book birthday, as well as the upcoming new arrival in her life. Here are Melissa A's answers:
The first book I ever read by Taylor Jenkins Reid was… *Ducking for cover here* I have not yet read her books, although I have all of them and really want to. Amy loves them (see her review of Maybe in Another Life) and she's the one who got me hooked on another author I currently love, so I trust her judgement. I am most interested in One True Loves though!
My Wish for Taylor Jenkins Reid as a Mom…To not lose her identity. It's easy to become a mom and make your child the center of your universe, but it's important to still have some things that are just about you. (Why do you think I blog?!?)
My Wish for Taylor Jenkins Reid as an author…Continuous success!
My Favorite book by Taylor Jenkins Reid…See my answer to question one. And then see Amy's review of Forever, Interrupted.
Who is your One True Love? My husband.

I would like to start over just about now. The only other time I started over was when I got divorced from my first husband.
After which divorce?? Not kidding. Between divorces and losses of jobs through no fault of my own I have been there, done that. Whew.
Currently! Just broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years, time for a fresh start :)
A new start began for me several years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and learned about life.
I had to start over after my divorce. Not fun, but you have to be strong and push through it.
I had to start over when I retired. I left a very high stress job that took up 70 hours a week. I had to re-create my life so that I Would feel that I had worth. I am busier now than when I worked but I am doing things that I enjoy and want to do.
I don't know that I had to start over in anything, but I am a grandparent helping with raising my grandson. I suppose having raised two children, I am doing some things a little differently.
I have had a lot of start overs. Starting over in a new school sucks though.
I started over with my career. Went back to school and became a teacher!
After my divorce.
I had to start over when I moved to Toronto after university. I didn't know a soul here.
When I married, I moved to my husbands hometown so I had to start over making new friends, going to a new church, etc.
After moving.
I have had to start over a lot, usually about every four years with a move; but I have finally been in the same place for five years.
playing games
Lots of stars over,but that's life :)
After I was divorced and was a single mother of 2 at 24.
Each day I start over.
When my husband&i were newlyweds very young we left our families in Ny&moved to ca for grad school.
