Spotlight and Giveaway: Yes Please

**Giveaway is now closed**

It's finally November, and we're kicking off Celebrity Month with a giveaway of Amy Poehler's book, Yes Please (published October 28, 2014). Thanks to Dey Street Books, we have TWO copies for some lucky US readers!

In Amy Poehler’s highly anticipated first book, Yes Please, she offers up a big juicy stew of personal stories, funny bits on sex and love and friendship and parenthood and real life advice (some useful, some not so much), like when to be funny and when to be serious. Read Amy's thoughts on everything from her "too safe" childhood outside of Boston to her early days in New York City, her ideas about Hollywood and "the biz," the demon that looks back at all of us in the mirror, and her joy at being told she has a "face for wigs." Powered by Amy’s charming and hilarious, biting yet wise voice, Yes Please is a book is full of words to live by. (Synopsis adapted from Barnes and Noble and Goodreads.)

Visit the website for Yes Please.

Amy Poehler is a writer, actress, producer, and director. She lives in New York City and Los Angeles with her two boys. She hopes her new book, YES PLEASE, will get her invited onto her hero Judge Judy's yacht. Along with producer Meredith Walker, Amy founded the Smart Girls organization, which is dedicated to helping young people cultivate their authentic selves. Their motto is: Change the World by Being Yourself. What began as an online show for young girls and an excuse to host spontaneous dance parties, has become a place for information, comedy and community.

Read Amy's recent interview at Entertainment Weekly.
Listen to Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) interview Amy when they were in Toronto together last week.

How to win:
Please tell us which celebrity should write a memoir (who hasn't already done so).

One entry per person.

Entries without contact information (e-mail address, Twitter account, Facebook page, etc.) will NOT be counted (and we do NOT count "Google +" as contact information).

US only. Giveaway ends November 9th at midnight EST.

I think Jimmy Fallon would have an awesome memoir if he wrote one. He writes comedy books and children's books, but it would be fun to read about his rise to fame as the host of The Tonight Show.

Thanks to Dey Street Books for sharing YES PLEASE with our winners.
