  1. I like the father of little Sam in Love Actually, Daniel. I know it's actually his stephfather, but what a great father figure he is for Sam!

    'Cause I don't now if he counts, a also like Will in "Picking up & Dropping off". Every single time he waits for his little boy in that airport! Love it!

  3. My favorite father is Robin's father in Taking Charge by Mandy Baggot.I don't know why I choose him, probably because I laugh so much on his jokes with his room mate in hospital.

  4. I love the building relationship between the main character (Will) in About A Boy by Nick Hornby (played by Hugh Grant on the screen) and Marcus, his future stepson.

  6. Ha, I'm a Homer Simpson fan. He loves his kids, goes to work all the time, takes them on vacations to exotic locations...and still has a sense of humor. :) Funny, compassionate and a happy guy. :)

  8. The first father I thought of was Tim Taylor from Home Improvement. I LOVED that show when I was growing up (er...ok, I also loved JTT...hehe) and I always thought he was so funny.

  23. My favorite Dad was Charles "Pa" Ingalls from Little House On The Prarie. He worked hard to provide for his family, he taught them great values, he was firm but fair, fiercely protective and loved his children with a kind and gentle heart. Just like my Dad!

  24. My favourite Dad was the character Jack Holden as played by Ted Danson in 3 Men and a Baby in the 1980's movie. He started off as not wanting to be a dad at all to the gorgeous Mary but by the end of the film he became a fantastic dad (with the help of Peter and Michael ( Tom Selleck and Steve Guttenburg)
