Everything was closed for days, and we had to walk to the grocery store pulling a toboggan! It was crazy! It was windy enough for many branches to break off our redwood trees and one flew up on the roof. The way the trees swayed had me really worried. I was afraid the trees would topple over. That would have been a major disaster. One small patio size tree did fall over. It was near the front of our yard. No damage to anything around it.Bonnie K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02780504029596670240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2622828765030571851.post-78812583003302693222021-11-12T07:21:56.609-05:002021-11-12T07:21:56.609-05:00Superstorm Sandy in October 2012Superstorm Sandy in October 2012Peggy Russohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06747195545042553320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2622828765030571851.post-69454731662754017792021-11-11T18:58:37.745-05:002021-11-11T18:58:37.745-05:00The last blizzard I remember was in 2012 and we ha...The last blizzard I remember was in 2012 and we had 22 inches of blowing and drifting snow. One time I had to abandon my car because we lived on a hill and the snow had fallen so rapidly there was no visible road anymore. Days went by and then the shoveling out was necessary.
