Spotlight and Giveaway: The Magnolia Sisters

Today we are pleased to feature The Magnolia Sisters by Michelle Major. Doesn't the cover look enticing? We hope you'll fall under Magnolia's spell. Thanks to Kaye Publicity, we have one copy to give away!

An inheritance brought her to Magnolia, but love just might keep her there…

Avery Keller arrives in Magnolia, North Carolina, with one aim: collect her inheritance and quickly put the quirky town in her rearview mirror. But the father who didn’t acknowledge her when he was alive has left Avery a mess to sort through—along with two half sisters she’s never met and a gorgeous single dad living next door. Soon her plan to keep this colorful, close-knit community at a distance gets complicated….

Grayson Atwell has rescued plenty of people in his firefighting career. His work and his little girl, Violet, are his entire world and there’s no time for anything—or anyone—else. But the vulnerability beneath Avery’s prickly façade brings out a fiercely protective side of him. Despite her protests, Gray can see that Avery’s falling under Magnolia’s spell—just like he’s falling for her. Now the only question is: How can he convince her to give them both a chance at forever?

Michelle Major grew up in Ohio but dreamed of living in the mountains. Soon after graduating with a degree in Journalism, she pointed her car west and settled in Colorado. Her life and house are filled with one great husband, two beautiful kids, a few furry pets and several well-behaved reptiles. She’s grateful to have found her passion writing stories with happy endings. Michelle loves to hear from her readers.

My sister and I are 19 months apart in age. When we were young we fought a lot, probably partially due to the fact that my mom made her take me along on play dates. In HS, we started to share clothes and grew closer. She was a tough act to follow. She was smart, popular and involved in lots of school activities. We went to the same college. We stood up in each others weddings. Our children are close in age.

Now we are sharing grandchildren stories! She is my best friend, a wonderful listener and always therefor me with support and advice.

Sadly, I sincerely hope I am not like my sisters; I’d rather be like my dearest friend. Ann is caring and always there when needed. She lifts my spirit with kind words. Forty-five years of friendship!

I have one sister who 4 years older than me, she lives in California and I'm in Chicago. I visited her a couples of years ago, being the difference in age we aren't as close and especially the distance we live apart from each other. Thanks for this amazing giveaway.

My mom was like a best friend, sister & mom all-in-one. Sadly, she passed away in December.

I’m lucky I have 3 sisters. Distance keeps us apart but not my love for them.

My sister is 3 years younger but that is not important to me. I want a meaningful relationship with her but she has hurt me too many times for that to happen and she does not realize the importance for me to have this, unfortunately.

This is definitely my kind of book. I’m an only child, but have some soul sisters that I love to the moon and back. Thank you for doing this, especially now when everyone is shut in, scared and vulnerable.

My sister and I are very close. She lives in Australia so I don't see her as often as I would like. She was here recently to visit and we had a wonderful time recalling our younger days. Laughing at some of the fun times we had.

I have two sisters. I’m really only close with one. She’s 15 years older than me and has been like a second mother to me every since my birth.

My Sister is my best friend and book buddy. She lives in a different state, but we talk every day.

that would be my ex-sister-in-law - tho she divorced my brother (good decision) she continues to include me in activities with her children and grandchildren.

My sister was 32 when she was killed in a plane crash in Nairobi back in 1980. She was my best friend. She was the quintessential California girl...had a house on the beach, tan year-round, in great shape, loads of fun. Even though it was long distance, we probably talked on the phone 4-5 times a week and never ran out of things to say.

I am an only child and one of my best friends is also an only child. We can pretend like we are sisters!

I don't have sisters but my BFF is like a sister. We've been friend for 30 years. She is the most thoughtful, and kind person I've ever known. She sends hand written notes and cards all the time, never forgets a birthday or any life event, an is constantly encouraging and uplifting. She makes me want to be more like her all the time. I don't know what I would do without her in my life.
