Today we're featuring The Promise of Forgiveness by Marin Thomas. Thanks to Berkley/NAL, we have THREE copies for some lucky US readers!
When it comes to family, Ruby Baxter hasn’t had much luck. The important men in her early life abandoned her and any time a decent boyfriend came along, she ran away. But now Ruby is thirty and convinced she is failing her teenage daughter. Mia is the one good thing in her life, and Ruby hopes a move to Kansas will fix what’s broken between them.
But the road to redemption takes a detour. Hank McArthur, the biological father Ruby never knew existed, would like her to claim her inheritance: a dusty oil ranch just outside of Unforgiven, Oklahoma.
As far as first impressions go, the gruff, emotionally distant rancher isn’t what Ruby has hoped for in a father. Yet Hank seems to have a gift for rehabilitating abused horses—and for reaching Mia. And if Ruby wants to entertain the possibility of a relationship with Joe Dawson, the ranch foreman, she must find a way to open her heart to the very first man who left her behind.

I would love to have fall all year. I love the warm days and cool nights. Or, if I could live in Hawaii and have summer all year, I would like that too. I just don't like summer where I live because it gets too hot to be outside.
ReplyDeleteSpring would be great...we still occasionally get a bit of rain, things are still green and it's not too hot yet.
ReplyDeleteFall for sleeping and spring for playing!
ReplyDeleteIt's a toss up between fall and spring!! I'm glad I live somewhere that distinctly has all four seasons each year but I wish the warmer seasons lasted a little longer!
ReplyDeleteI would lov summer all year since the season is ideal for me.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have Spring all year long. New beginnings, hope for a mild summer. The days are warming up and I can get outside for a while.
ReplyDeleteSpring. Refreshing. Sometimes warm enough to sit in the sun and enjoy it. Even with allergies it's still the best.
ReplyDeleteIf I didn't have allergies, I would love spring all year. I love the newness and since of renewal, a fresh start. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to have summer all year long. I am happiest in the
ReplyDeletesunshine with 80 to 90 degree weather. The flowers blooming and
the birds and butterflies in the garden. All the fresh fruits and
vegetables. My favorite time of year.
Spring love the weather flowers start to bloom.A happy time,
